Summer Pottery for Kids

August 4th, 5th, 6th, and 13th from 9:00am-12:00pm Museum Village gives kids the chance to experience the craft of pottery. From throwing the pot to slab rolling kids, ages 9-12, will create their own pieces, working on them through all steps of the pottery process. Children will work on their pieces Monday, August 4th through Wednesday, August 6th returning August 13th to collect their pieces. Kids will receive a free pass to Museum Village’s Pottery Event September 13th-14th from 11:00am-4:00pm to witness a historic wood firing. Cost is $125.00.

Summer Puppetry Program

Summer Puppetry Program August 4th-8th and August 11th-14th: Museum Village presents two week long sessions from 10:00am-4:00pm each day for children ages 9-12 to enjoy the art of puppetry and drama. Children can choose one of these two sessions and design their own paper-mache puppet along with costumes, write their own script, build a stage, and paint scenery. The program will culminate in a performance of their play on the final day.
